Chef Aimee Tortorich began her culinary career in 2012 after serving in the United States Navy. Following her passion, she completed culinary school at the Louisiana Culinary Institute and jumped right into the Baton Rouge food scene. After winning numerous awards and achievements, she has been regarded as one of the top female chefs in Baton Rouge with her Modern American food style. She supports the Farm-To-Table movement and stays involved in the Baton Rouge food community through charity events and local competitions.

The Guest Chef started in 2018 after Chef Aimee Tortorich decided to begin a new culinary venture. With experience in working as a Private Chef, Caterer, Culinary Director, and Executive Chef, she decided that the Baton Rouge food scene was ready for a food revolution and wanted to be at the forefront of change. The Guest Chef was born as a way to bring together community, collaboration, and culinary arts. Whether she is "The Guest Chef" in a private home or a local restaurant, she continues to push the boundary and creates new and interesting flavor profiles and combinations. She takes inspiration from worldly flavors and combines them to give each guest a unique dining experience.
